Your generous contributions play an important role in so many ways.
Honoring a Mancos Heritage. The Mancos Times, the first Mancos newspaper, was started in 1893. Your generosity allows the Common Press to continue to bring this rare and unique part of our past into our present as an asset for our community, our school children, artisans, and regional visitors.
Keeping Letterpress Alive. Our donor gifts allow us to continue sharing the technical and creative experience of letterpress with our area students and artists in residence through the form of operational support and scholarships. Classes incorporate the history of letterpress printing with a practical understanding and application of the letterpress print method.
Supporting Our Community. Our building project, supported by your donations, features a nearly 4,000 square foot, two-story mixed-use development including three single-bedroom affordable housing units, a large workshop space and retail and office space. The development retains our pocket park providing space for outdoor gathering, cultural events, and preserves visual access to our wonderful mural by Brad Goodell.
