The Mancos Common Press introduces The Press Club.  The Press Club is a monthly membership that artists can join and gain access to our facilities to print their own work.  Press Club members must take the Letterpress 101 class prior to joining and have been checked out or have been approved using other criteria by the Board.

There is a monthly fee of $50 that allows for 32 hours of use per month. Members will receive a monthly email one week prior to the end of the month reminding them of dues due and providing a rotating passcode to allow members to book future usage online.

Covid regulations and requirements will vary based upon the current situation at the time. It is understood that procedures will change and evolve as the Club moves forward.

Our Mission

The Mancos Common Press was founded in 2013 to establish a center dedicated to the printer’s art while restoring and reusing the historic Mancos Times building as a new facility for students and graphic artists.

The Cranston Press

Our Cranston Press stands close to 8 feet tall and is one of just a handful that still exist nationwide. This press is capable of producing prints of up to 24-by-36 inches, the size of a full newspaper spread. The Cranston can be used both in educational and functional functions. It is a rare privilege to have access to a huge letterpress like this.
