Press Club

The Press Club is our active community here at the Press.  Everyone who’s taken Letterpress 101 and has become familiar with the equipment and letterpress process is invited to join in and participate in a variety of ways: take part in our monthly Press Club gatherings where we share ideas and work on projects, attend skills building workshops, help with projects at the Press, volunteer for events and pop-ups, and other opportunities to gather around letterpress and printmaking.

  • The Press Club stays in touch through our monthly email and regular get-togethers.
  • Consign products to be sold in the Mancos Commons retail area.

Press Club Single Session Use

  • For Press Club Members (have completed Letterpress 101) 
  • $35 per 4 hour session (paid on Square POS upon completion)
  • If printer needs supervision or assistance, must coordinate with Program Director to ensure someone is present

Artist Membership

We also offer Artist Memberships for those interested in using the facility to work on independent print projects. Artist Members who want to do letterpress printing are required to take Letterpress 101, submit an application for membership and complete an additional 6 hours of supervised time/orientation at the Press. We offer Letterpress 101 up to four times a year, depending on interest. Artist Members who would like a non-letterpress membership are required to complete 2 hours of supervised time/orientation and submit an application (see below).

  • Flexible length memberships of 3, 6, and 12 months
  • 12 month memberships receive a discount of 1 month.
  • $180/3 months, can be paid in full or monthly $60 auto-payments.
  • $360/6 months, can be paid in full or monthly $60 auto-payments.
  • $660/12 months, can be paid in full or monthly $55 auto-payments.
  • Offers full independent access to the shop space and press equipment as qualified.
  • 8 four-hour sessions per month, booked on our online calendar.  We offer sessions morning, afternoon and evening, 7 days a week except when a class or other event is scheduled.
  • Receive 15% discount on classes.
  • Consign products to be sold in the Mancos Commons retail area.

Private assisted-Printing

  • Work side-by-side with a Member Printer or staff who will help you with all aspects of your printing project as well as set-up and clean-up. The hourly rate includes shop supplies such as ink and cleaning products. 
  • Paper and plates are purchased separately, and may require additional time.
  • $60 per hour, 4 hour minimum
